What can I use service vouchers for?

You can simply pay for all our services with service vouchers. This also applies to our ironing workshops. In exchange for one service voucher you can pay for one hour of household assistance. Household assistance includes all everyday household tasks, such as cleaning, but also washing and ironing, cooking and shopping.

What can service vouchers not be used for?

Gardening, babysitting, caring for animals and their living quarters, maintaining common stairwells as
well as professional spaces (such as shops, offices, doctors' surgeries), cleaning windows in
unsuitable conditions (with a risk of falling),...

How much does household assistance/cleaning help cost?

In exchange for one service voucher you can pay for one hour of household assistance. As a private
individual, you can purchase service vouchers for 9 euros per voucher in in Flanders and Wallonia. In Brussels, it is 10 euros per voucher. Service vouchers are tax deductible. This means that after tax deduction you pay:

  • In Flanders: Only 7.20 euros for one hour of help in the household. This is because you will receive an annual tax reduction of 1.80 euros per voucher for the first 167 purchased service vouchers per person.
  • In Brussels: Only 8.50 euros for one hour of help in the household. This is because you will receive an annual tax reduction of 1.50 euros per voucher for the first 163 purchased service vouchers per person.
  • In Wallonia: Only 8.10 euros for one hour of help in the household. This is because you will receive an annual tax reduction of 0.90 euros per voucher for the first 150 purchased service vouchers per person.

As a client of TRIXXO Service Vouchers, we charge a subscription fee of 48 euros per six-month period. You will receive your first invoice at the time of subscription. Subsequently, every 6 months a new invoice of 48 euros will follow that relates to
the following 6 months of collaboration. These administrative costs are not tax deductible. This formula does not apply to customers of our ironing ateliers.

What exactly is the subscription fee used for?

The service voucher is based on the payment of the wages of your household assistant. The subscription fee is used for administrative support and planning from our back office, as well as the constant improvement of our services such as: training and supervision of your household assistant.

How do I order service vouchers?

As soon as you have received your user number, you can order service vouchers. Transfer 9 euros per service voucher to Sodexo's bank account. The minimum order is 10 service vouchers. Very important: you must state your user number in the structured communication box of your transfer.

Sodexo and TRIXXO Service Vouchers are two different companies. Sodexo only deals with the delivery of service vouchers, while TRIXXO manages the contract and the planning of the household assistants.

How is payment made? Do I have to give the service vouchers to my household assistant?

Paper service vouchers: After the visit of your household assistant, you hand over the service vouchers, equal to the number of hours worked, to your household assistant. If you are not at home when your household assistant is present, you can leave the vouchers ready for him/her in advance.

Electronic service vouchers: The household assistant registers his/her performance on the day of the performance using a telephone, possibly made available by the client. If the household assistant cannot call in his/her services himself, one of our offices will do so. After the service has been called through, you as a client can confirm online. So feel free to pass on your user number to the office
and your household assistant.

How long do the service vouchers remain valid?

This depends on where you live:

  • Flanders: 12 months
  • Brussels-Capital Region: 6 months
  • Wallonia: 8 months

It was decided that the service vouchers that expire during the period of the corona crisis will remain valid for longer. What do I do with service vouchers that I will no longer use or that are about to expire?

For each unused service voucher, you can request a refund or exchange before the expiry date of the voucher. This is completely free, both for paper and electronic service vouchers.

My paper service vouchers have been: lost, stolen, did not arrive, have incorrect entries.

These things happen. No problem. Submit a form to Sodexo to resolve this.

How many service vouchers can I order per year?

The minimum order per purchase is 10 service vouchers.

  • Individual users can order 500 service vouchers per year: 400 at 9 euros and 100 at 10 euros. This applies to Flanders & Wallonia. For Brussels, 300 service vouchers at 10 euros each and 200 at 12 euros each.
  • Families can order 1000 service vouchers per year: 800 at 9 euros and 200 at 10 euros. This applies to Flanders & Wallonia. For Brussels. For Brussels, 800 service vouchers at 10 euros each and 200 service vouchers at 12 euros each.

TIP: In a family situation, you can avoid the additional cost by purchasing extra service vouchers with
a new user number in the name of the partner. The use of service vouchers will remain limited to
1000 service vouchers per family. By registering both of you with Sodexo and each purchasing service
vouchers, your family will be able to deduct twice the amount each year.

  • If you fall under a special category (single-parent family, disabled person, parent of minor disabled children, older person who receives an allowance for assistance to the elderly), your purchase limit will be increased. How does the tax deduction take place?

Every year in March you will receive a tax certificate from Sodexo. You must enclose this form with
your tax return. When you use electronic service vouchers, this certificate is also available in the
secure User Zone of Sodexo. Even more convenient, normally the details of your tax certificate are
automatically pre-filled in your tax return.

Can I automate the purchase of my service vouchers?

You can. We advise you to create a direct debit with your bank between yourself and Sodexo. That
way you don't have to think about it anymore.

Can I pass on my purchased service vouchers to family or friends?

This is not possible. The service vouchers are always registered in your name, which makes it
impossible to pass them on.

Can my sister/brother/mum… come and clean at my place using service vouchers?

It is in any case prohibited for the household assistant to live at the same address as the client.
Family members up to the second degree are also legally prohibited from using service vouchers.
These are: partner, parents, parents-in-law, children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters,
grandchildren, grandfathers, grandmothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, stepsisters and
stepbrothers.

The following family members are allowed to work for you using service vouchers: uncles, aunts,
cousins (children of a brother or sister), great-grandparents and great-grandchildren. Here too, these
persons may not live at the same address as you, the user.

Does my household assistant bring his/her own materials?

No, that is not how it works. As a client, you must provide the work materials yourself. It is best to
discuss together what your household help needs to perform his/her work.

Will a regular household assistant come to see me?

We will always look for a regular household assistant for you and your family. When your household
assistant is on holiday or ill, he/she cannot of course come by. It is possible to have a colleague
replace them during this period, but that is completely up to you of course.

What if I'm on holiday? Can I then temporarily cancel the household assistant?

Yes, you can. As a client you can cancel the planned household assistant 5 times per calendar year.
To do this, we do ask you to inform us a week in advance. Then the household assistant may then be
temporarily able to work for another family. Do you want to suspend the household assistant for
more than two weeks? Then you should inform us about this one month in advance.

What if my household assistant breaks something?

An accident can always happen. In the event of damage, you must notify us of this in writing within
one week. We then draw up a claim file so that we can quickly resolve this inconvenience together

How much does ironing assistance cost using service vouchers?

Payment is made via service vouchers. This is possible with both paper and electronic service vouchers. As a private individual, you can purchase service vouchers for 9 euros per voucher in flanders and wallonia and for 10 euros in Brussels. Service vouchers are tax deductible. One hour of ironing assistance is generally equivalent to one service voucher. You can find the rates
in our ironing workshops. An administrative fee of 1.50 euros is charged per service voucher. This is
subject to a minimum of EUR 10 per semester and a maximum of EUR 60 per semester. This cost is
paid in addition to cover all other costs outside the personnel costs and is invoiced semi-annually.

How do I pay for the ironing assistance in the TRIXXO Ironing Workshops?

Our service works via service vouchers, also for the ironing workshop. That makes it nice and
affordable.

  • Paper service vouchers: when collecting the goods, the user hands over the vouchers, equal to the number stated on the ironing document, to the ironer.
  • Electronic service vouchers: the employee registers his/her performances on the day of the performance, after which the user is responsible for online confirmation of these performances. The user must always have sufficient service vouchers in his/her electronic wallet.

TRIXXO Service Vouchers charges an administrative fee of EUR 1.50 per service voucher due, with a
minimum of EUR 10 per semester and a maximum of EUR 60 per semester. This cost is paid in
addition to cover all other costs outside the personnel costs and is invoiced semi-annually. This
includes the costs of electricity, water, purchase and maintenance of materials, prevention
measures, training, support, etc.

Do I pay per laundry basket that I bring into the ironing workshop?

Too much ironing to put in one laundry basket? Divide the textile over several laundry baskets. This
also helps our ironing assistants to return the ironing neatly folded to you. You don't pay per laundry
basket. You pay per service voucher.

Do I need to make an appointment to bring in my ironing basket?

It is not necessary to make an appointment to bring in your ironing basket. Do keep in mind:

  • Our ironing workshops are equipped with plexiglass, hand gel,...
  • Face masks are mandatory in our ironing workshops.
  • Preferably come to our ironing workshops alone.
  • As far as possible, we ask you to sign the paper service vouchers in advance.

This way we can keep the necessary distance and continue to serve you in complete safety.
