  The flexi-jobs system allows employees working at least 4/5 as well as pensioners to earn a little extra without having to pay taxes for this work.

  • Those who flexi-job do not pay social security contributions or taxes on their wages. The gross pay is equal to the net pay. You also build up social rights (unemployment compensation, pension, holidays, etc.). As an employee, there is a limit of EUR 18,000 that you can earn on top. For retired flexi-jobbers, there is no ceiling.
  • The employer pays a reduced rate of 28% employer contributions on top of a flexi-jobber's salary.
