At TRIXXO, we believe that good cooperation starts with mutual understanding. How do we ensure together that our customers' households continue to run smoothly, while taking into account the beliefs and traditions of our domestic helpers?
For household helpers: tips for smart energy management
As a domestic helper, you are an indispensable force. To monitor your health and energy during the working day, these tips will help:
- Alternate: Try to alternate heavy physical tasks with lighter ones. For example, after an hour of intense cleaning, sit down for a while to iron. This will give your body short recovery moments.
- Focus on the night: Good preparation happens between sunset (Iftar) and sunrise (Suhoor). Drink enough water to start your working day well hydrated and choose slow-acting carbohydrates (such as wholemeal products) that provide energy for longer.
- Listen to your body: Feeling dizzy or unwell? Take a break and communicate this honestly with your client or your consultant at TRIXXO. Safety and health always come first.
For our clients: how can you support your household help?
A nice working environment makes work lighter. As a client, you can make a big difference to your household help with a few small adjustments:
- The heavy jobs first: Energy levels are often highest at the beginning of the shift. Suggest doing heavy tasks, such as polishing the floors or mopping the windows, first.
- Planning by mutual agreement: Discuss priorities together. Perhaps certain tasks that require a lot of physical strength can wait a week, or be spread over several days?
- Scent and environment: During fasting, strong cooking odours can be especially troublesome. If possible, try to prepare heavy meals before or after your help is present.
- A word of encouragement: Ramadan is all about connection. A simple question like "How are you today?" or a sincere thank you often provides the mental energy needed to get through the day.
Together stronger

We wish all our colleagues and customers a happy Ramadan!
