Be understanding
Be understanding if the household help is a bit late. In case of exceptional circumstances (sudden snowfall), your household help may not get to you. In any case, you will of course be informed.
Make sure the temperature is comfortable to work in
We ask you to ensure a pleasant temperature to work in, at least 16°. By the way, did you know that this temperature is also better for the condition of your house? After all, it prevents condensation and mould.
Warm water
Make sure the domestic helper has access to lukewarm or warm water to do his or her job. By the way, cleaning with lukewarm or warm water ensures better results.
Cleaning the outside of your home, put off for a while
Cleaning the outside of your home is not allowed. Clearing snow and/or salting entrances is not an authorised task for a household helper. Cleaning the windows outside the house during winter weather is also not allowed.
Beware of slipperiness
Think about clearing the footpath. Remove as many dead leaves, snow or sleet as possible. That way, your household help and pedestrians won't risk slipping.
Thank you for helping to look after the welfare of our colleagues!
