What cleaning products does our household help need?
The right products make a world of difference. Here is a list of what your polishing help needs to make your home shine again:
- All-purpose cleaner: The basis for most surfaces.
- Degreaser/Detergent (detergent): Indispensable for kitchen and dishwashing.
- Detergent or cleaning vinegar: Effective against limescale, especially in the bathroom and kitchen.
- WC cleaner without javel/bleach: Specific for the toilet, but safe for your household help.
- Floor cleaner: Choose one adapted to the type of floor(s) in your home.
Important note: There are products we strongly advise against. This is for the health and safety of our cleaning staff and to prevent damage. Therefore, we do not use javel, ammonia, unblocker, mould cleaners or disinfectant products (such as Dettol Pharma). We also prefer to avoid aggressive agents such as HG or Cillit Bang, and products in spray form.
What cleaning materials does our cleaning assistant need?
In addition to the right products, solid materials are also very important. Consider:
- A decent hoover: A properly working hoover is the basis of any thorough cleaning.
- Detractor: One with a long or telescopic handle is ideal for various surfaces.
- 2 buckets: One small and one large, or two large buckets, are useful for various tasks.
- Microfibre wipes: Provide at least 5. They are ideal for dust and dirt, without leaving scratches.
- Microfibre mops: At least 2 mops are recommended for mopping floors.
- Large sponge: For general cleaning and larger surfaces.
- Draining sponge for windows: For streak-free windows.
- Long feather duster: Perfect for dusting hard-to-reach areas.
- Toilet brush: A must-have in every bathroom.
- Stable step ladder: For your brush's safety when reaching higher places.
Ergonomic polishing equipment
Think of mop sticks with an adjustable handle, which allows your cleaning helper to work at the right height and not bend down unnecessarily. A lightweight hoover also prevents overloading the back and shoulders. The use of ergonomic materials thus not only helps prevent back and shoulder complaints, but also ensures that your cleaner can work more comfortably and efficiently. A good work experience for the cleaning helper ultimately leads to a better result for you as well.
