Your job as a Roofworker or Roofing Technician
As a roofer or roofer, you are a professional who provides construction, renovation and maintenance of roofs. You work with different materials such as tiles, slates and roofing and are responsible for both flat and sloping roofs. Your work is physical and challenging, but with your expertise, precision and focus on safety, you will ensure a perfectly watertight result that protects the customer from all weather conditions.
Your duties as a Roofing Technician
- Placing roofing materials, such as tiles, slates, zinc gutters and EPDM.
- Executing roof insulation and repairs.
- Installation of skylights, domes and skylights.
- Reading plans and instructions to carry out work accurately.
- Ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues on site.
- Cooperate with your team and communicate with the project manager and customers.
Your profile as a Construction Roofing Worker
Are you a go-getter with a passion for the job who is not afraid of heights?
- You have demonstrable experience as a roofing worker or are motivated to learn the trade.
- You are physically fit and willing to work in all weather conditions.
- You work accurately and have an eye for detail and quality.
- You are a real team player who works well together.
- A VCA certificate is a plus, as is a driving licence B.
